2026 SISS I Syllabus


Dear Students,


We are pleased to share the syllabi for the upcoming 2026 Seoul International Summer School I (SISS I).

Attached, you will find the syllabi for the Business Studies and Korean Studies courses.

Please note that the Korean Language course syllabi are currently being updated and will be available in mid-June. In the meantime, we have attached last year's Korean Language syllabus for your reference.

You can select from six different course options below.

Please take note that we are unable to mix courses from different tracks or options, as the program follows a fixed structure. 



TRACK Description

TRACK 1 : Business in Korean Perspective

Interested in how Korean companies have become global leaders in innovation, technology, and culture? The Business from a Korean Perspective track offers an exciting opportunity to explore the dynamic world of Korean business and its role in the Asian and global economy.

Through engaging lectures, case studies, and experiential learning activities, you will gain valuable insights into Korea’s economic development, business environment, and global marketing strategies. You will also examine current trends and emerging issues in international business while learning how Korean and Asian companies navigate an increasingly competitive global marketplace.

Whether you are studying business, economics, or simply curious about Korea’s remarkable economic success, this track will provide a unique and practical perspective on global business.

Korean Economy and Business 


TRACK 2 : Korean Studies

Are you fascinated by Korean culture, history, K-pop, K-dramas, or contemporary Korean society? The Korean Studies track is the perfect opportunity to explore Korea beyond what you see on screen.

Through a combination of interactive lectures and cultural experiences, you will discover the rich traditions, history, and social changes that have shaped modern Korea. The track explores a wide range of topics, from Korean heritage and historical developments to contemporary society, mass media, and popular culture.

Whether you are already a fan of Korean culture or simply eager to learn more about one of the world's most influential cultural hubs, this track will help you gain a deeper understanding of Korea’s past, present, and future.
